It’s my pleasure to introduce you all to the girl who works tirelessly to provide all the beautiful content we consume daily. You each know her, have probably unknowingly communicated with her, and see why she is such an integral part of our eTeam every day. Lex Tarrant is our savvy Social Media Manager. We have been honored to have her digital expertise for eight years and hopefully many more! Though you don’t get to see much of her, as she prefers to be behind the camera, she always makes everyone on our team laugh, feel confident (even if we are not) when working with her, and effortlessly and genuinely builds connections with local and not-so-local customers. Get to know our oh-so-loved Lex like we do!
Q: How did you come about acquiring your position or finding out about our company to apply?
A: “My e.Allen journey started when I was still in college – I worked as a stylist in our Franklin location! When I first started, all stores were responsible for contributing to the Instagram posts each day. I found myself coming in early before my shifts to tackle this task because I became obsessed with styling and capturing the perfect image! After graduating & as the e.Allen brand was growing there became a need for someone to solely take over our social accounts, and I was lucky enough for that to be me. This is truly such a dream job for me, being able to mix my love of fashion and social media. <3“
Q: What’s something about yourself, if anything, that you’d like to share?
A: “I constantly have a podcast on while I am working! My favorites are The Toast, Armchair Expert, and Theo Von!”
Q: What does your position entail?:
A: “Everything social media! I’m constantly creating, posting, and making sure our socials stay fresh and engaging. I whip up social ads, capture behind-the-scenes of line viewings and photoshoots to give our followers a peek into our fashion-filled work day. On top of that, I collaborate with the team to brainstorm events and craft emails. Basically, if it’s digital and needs a creative touch, I’m on it!”
Q: What qualities or characteristics in yourself do you think help you in your position?
A: “Definitely creativity and a sense of urgency! Working in social media, you’ve got to be quick on your feet and always coming up with fresh ideas. Whether it’s hopping on a trend or styling content that pops, I love the fast pace and the chance to constantly think outside the box.”
Q: Who, if anyone, do you work with in your position?
A: “I work with almost everyone on the e.Allen team! On a day-to-day basis, it’s my HQ crew (Megan, Elizabeth, Devan, Kelsey & Tabitha). I also stop into stores weekly to grab content and get to work with the girlies in there!”
Q: What is your favorite part of your daily job?
A: “Getting to work with my best friends and talking fashion allll day :)”
Q: What has been the most challenging part of your job?
A: “The most challenging part for me sometimes is being creative, or more so, fighting creative fatigue. I constantly want to be producing content that is fresh, original, and engaging.”
Q: What has been the most rewarding part of your job or your greatest accomplishment?
A: “The most rewarding part is really just watching our followers and our online presence grow over the years I have been on the team!”
Q: What has your favorite memory at e.Allen been so far?
A: “Our Blackberry Mountain Retreat! It was so fun to spend time with everyone outside of a work environment. We are already so close to one another, but I feel like this trip took it another step.”
Q: What do you look forward to the most at e.Allen?
A: “Watching the company grow & getting to work with the best people.”
