Our Operations + Inventory Manager, Tabitha Tripp, is truly a ray of sunshine. She’s our girl in and for EVERYTHING. While she juggles so many responsibilities and duties, she carries it with grace and is also willing and happy to assist each team member when needed. Being a true team player and embodying hard work ethic, our team is beyond blessed to have her. Over the past three years of knowing her, a laugh or smile is guaranteed in any interaction with her, and her devotion and love for her work, friends, and eAllen shines through in everything she does and has done. Q: How did you come about acquiring your position or finding out about our company to apply?
A: “Living in Murfreesboro, e.Allen was somewhere I always wanted to work, especially with entering the fashion industry as my career goal. I had worked another retail job prior and held a management position, but at the time I applied here, they weren’t hiring for anything in management. I knew though that e.Allen was where I wanted to be and had a strong feeling that the company would allow me to learn and grow so I started as a sales associate in the Gulch location (this was the only available location and I was living in Murfreesboro, so this -also shows how badly I wanted to get my foot in the door). Best decision ever! Over the past three years I HAVE grown and learned so much and with that has allowed me to work my way to where I am now. Trust your gut always…..”
Q: What’s something about yourself, if anything, that you’d like to share?
A: “My favorite style icon + influencer to follow is Brooke Puth! If you don’t follow her….do yourself a favor and check her out!”
Q: What does your position entail?:
A: “My position entails an array of things.
All of the products that you see in stores started from a line-sheet. The product selected, I then manually add into our POS system, where we can then track our buy as well as receive the product once it arrives at our office. Once that product arrives, I physically and systematically receive it and tag each item, then distribute it to the stores who need the product. Daily, I watch the inventory to make sure everything remains as accurate as possible, as well as tracking the product to see how it does in stores, checking to see if anything needs to be moved to a different location or possibly swapped through our vendor for something that might perform better! I work with Megan and our financial advisor to make sure everything numbers wise for the company is where it should be and needs to be. I also assist in managing our store leads and making sure that they are all set up for success daily, as well as collaborate with my HQ team on marketing strategies, upcoming events, and anything else creative that you might see. Plus, hands on deck in anything else that I could help in!”
Q: What qualities or characteristics in yourself do you think help you in your position?:
A: “What helps the most is being organized, good with numbers, having great problem solving skills, keeping a positive mindset, staying eager to learn, and being detail oriented.”
Q: Who, if anyone, do you work with in your position?:
A: “My position requires me to work closest with Megan and Elizabeth, but I collaborate with my entire HQ team! Megan is my sidekick through it all though.”
Q: What is your favorite part of your daily job?:
A: “Getting to work with my besties everyday! The giggles that come with it. The jokes and pranks and the comfortability of working with people that you love. It’s a dream job for sure. I also love that no day seems overly repetitive and that I get to do a wide variety of things.”
Q: What has been the most challenging part of your job?:
A: “Not being able to buy everything that we get in… LOL!”
Q: What has been the most rewarding part of your job or your greatest accomplishment?:
A: Being trusted to be in the position that I am in, and the ladder that I have gotten to climb over the past three years. I was dedicated to wanting to play a bigger part in the company so I made sure that I did everything possible to stand out and make that happen!
Q: In what ways do you want to grow in your position or grow the position itself?:
A: When my role grows, that means everything is growing, which is what I hope to see every day!
Q: What has been your favorite memory at eAllen so far?:
A: Our fifteen-year dinner was super special. Elizabeth kept everything a secret and completely outdid herself. It was here at HQ making it intimate and a time for the team to be together and reminisce about the growth and memories shared throughout the past years.
Q: What do you look forward to the most at eAllen?
A: Knowing each morning I get to wake up and do it all again <3
