What’s better than sitting waterside with good company? Snacking on some seasonal, yet healthy bites during these warm days. Here are some easy, delicious, and nutritious options for those waterside times! 

 

Caprese Skewers:

24 cherry tomatoes

12 mini mozzarella balls

24 basil leaves

Extra virgin olive oil

Balsamic reduction

Fresh ground salt and pepper

  1. Thread tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and basil leaves onto mini skewers. 
  2. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic reduction and sprinkle with salt and pepper

 

Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon Pita Chips:

2 kiwis, peeled and diced

2 Granny Smith apples, cored and diced

8 ounces of raspberries, diced

1 (16-ounce) carton of strawberries, diced

Cinnamon Pita Chips 

  1. Mix all the fruit thoroughly in a large bowl. Refrigerate until ready to serve with pita chips. 

TIP: Make on the same day of serving, and not too early, to keep as fresh as possible.
