Get inspired by the flavors of Mexico to spice up your meals and your mood as the warm weather from spring starts popping up.  If the weather is finally fine, definitely take advantage of the outdoors for a dinner al fresco.

While homemade guac and grilling sounds fabulous for some, others just want to get dressed and go somewhere to satisfy their mexi-infused taste buds.  With so many restaurant options though, how do you know which one to choose?  The Nashville area is loaded with options and each restaurant has their iconic item in efforts to lure you its way.  So….pop on that Farm Rio blouse or our embroidered yoke top for a festive fashion approach and head to one of these Mexican locales to soak up the yummy faire each are known for.

  • Heading downtown?  Try popping in Blanco Cocina and Cantina.  This restaurant has such a captive ambiance and hopping atmosphere. Be it the spicy skinny margs or the infamous short rib bowl, you will be happy with your choice…no doubt!
  • Is the Gulch on your shopping agenda?  If so, Saint Anejo is your place.  While any of the M Street-owned restaurants are top notch, their Mexican-focused option is one of their tippy-top choices.  Their brisket nachos are absolutely insane, and their infamous libation menu will have you hooked on the very first sip.
  • East Nashville is known for unique jaunts and non-chain food options.  Mas Tacos is the prime example. While it began as a food truck, the following popularity forced Mas Tacos to a brick and mortar location.  Their homemade tamales are everyone’s priority; however, their fresh bowl of pozole or their quinoa and sweet potato tacos are equally as pleasing to the taste buds.
